Bonnie

Bonnie

Meet Bonnie You’ll quickly see that Bonnie has a big personality in her tiny little body. At dinner time, she runs around the kitchen barking to celebrate it’s almost time to eat. If you love Yorkies, you will love Bonnie. She is affectionate, sleeps in the bed with her foster mom, and is a wonderful companion. Bonnie would absolutely love a home where her person is frequently around. Her vet and groomer marvel at how friendly and happy she is to see them. Bonnie does have dry eye which requires daily eye drops, and she is very cooperative. Bonnie will be adopted out with a few bottles of her eyedrops and 12 mos of Heartgard to completely treat her positive heartworm. Bonnie is quick and will run out an open door or fences, so she needs a home where everyone is vigilant around doors and fences. We require an all-adult home (no young children) with a securely fenced yard attached to the house with NO gaps larger than 1 ½ inches. An invisible fence, enclosed patio or terrace, temporary fencing or community shared fencing are NOT considered secure fencing. No exceptions. There is an application process and adoption fee. We are an all-volunteer organization, and in addition to saving dogs, we have other responsibilities, so we appreciate your patience and understanding during this process. Response time can take up to 5 business. Please inquire only if you are willing to come to Greensboro, North Carolina to meet the dogs after we schedule your home visit. We do not ship dogs or put them on transports. Veterinary Care: All Hart-2-Heart Rescue foster dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartworm prevention, parvo/distemper, bordetella, and rabies vaccines and are professionally groomed. As needed, our foster dogs have teeth cleanings, extractions, bloodwork and other diagnostic testing.
